Claude Code AI Engineer / Vibe Coding Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Claude Code AI Engineer who can build software using a structured AI-first development approach. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Claude Code and understand how to use Context Engineering, CLAUDE.md, Agents, Skills, MCPs, Hooks, Commands, and AI-driven workflows to deliver software efficiently.

This role is for developers who know how to work with AI, not around AI.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of software development experience.

• Daily hands-on experience with Claude Code.

• Experience building production applications using AI-assisted development.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and system design.

• Experience using Git and modern development workflows.

Must-Have Claude Code Skills

Context Engineering

• Creating and maintaining CLAUDE.md files.

• Structuring project documentation for AI consumption.

• Managing project context effectively.

• Creating reusable development instructions.

• Maintaining coding standards through AI context.

Agents

• Creating task-specific agents.

• Defining agent responsibilities and workflows.

• Using multiple agents for parallel development tasks.

• Agent orchestration and delegation.

Skills

• Creating and maintaining custom Claude Skills.

• Building reusable development workflows.

• Using Skills to standardize engineering processes.

MCP (Model Context Protocol)

• Installing and configuring MCP servers.

• Using MCPs to extend Claude capabilities.

• Integrating third-party tools through MCP.

• Understanding MCP security and best practices.

Hooks

• Creating pre-tool and post-tool hooks.

• Automating development workflows.

• Implementing validation and quality checks through hooks.

Commands

• Creating custom slash commands.

• Building reusable engineering workflows.

• Automating repetitive development tasks.

AI-Assisted Engineering

• AI-assisted architecture design.

• AI-assisted code generation.

• AI-assisted debugging.

• AI-assisted refactoring.

• AI-assisted testing.

• AI-assisted documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Claude Code as a primary development tool.

• Create and maintain CLAUDE.md and project context files.

• Design and manage custom agents, skills, hooks, and commands.

• Configure and utilize MCP servers where required.

• Review and validate AI-generated code before deployment.

• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Continuously improve AI development workflows and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

• Experience building AI agents and automation workflows.

• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and context engineering.

• Experience leading AI adoption within development teams.
